A little about me...

Hi friends, my name is Sarah!!! I'm the creator of Simple & Sweet Life. Blogging is a new part of my life and I'm still learning all the different gadgets and buttons to make this blog more fun and inspiring for all of your readers. I think blogging is also a great way for me to express myself and share the things I love.

Well a little bit about me, I'm just your average person. I'm a full-time wife and mother to one little guy. I also work a full-time job, while trying to juggle all of my crafty projects on the side. I enjoy sitting at home in my pj's, drinking a coca-cola, and finding something new to create.

My husband and I have been together for over nine years. We both grew up in the same small town in Ohio. It's one of those little towns where everyone knows everybody and everything, and that is the truth!! My husband joined the Army about 5 years into our relationship and from there we have experienced new places from Heidelberg, Germany to Texas and have met so many new friends.

I'm the boss to one little guy, Alexander aka Alex aka Amax.. the nicknames go on and on!! :) He is my pride and joy!!! He's a July baby and was born when we were stationed in Germany. Almost four years old he has grown up so quickly... it's amazing how his personality has changed over the few years. He's crazy about anything that can move from cars, trains, and planes... and monster trucks!!! He says the silliest things and loves playing with his two boxer dogs, Mocha & Marley. He has taught me a lot as a person and I love being his Mommy.  Hopefully someday we can bring him a baby sister or brother into this world, on that note to be continued lol! :)

For as long as I can remember I've always been very creative. Doing something artsy or crafty has always been a hobby to me and honestly I don't know where it comes from, it just does!! If you were to ask me what my favorite craft is, I couldn't give you a specific answer.

I enjoy looking for new crafts to do with my son, making a new piece of home decor, or simply revamping something old to make it new again. I also enjoy trying new recipes. I've never been really good in the kitchen, but it doesn't stop me from trying. I really like baking!!

I love my camera, I could take pictures all day. You should see the amount of photos I have of my son and he's about to turn four. Just wait until his graduation comes around because I didn't miss a moment of his life. That is one thing I'd love to learn more about, photography. I have even thought it would be exciting to start my own photography school. But first I need a better camera, some lessons, and some more money!! lol!

I think I'm a neat freak and I've even been told I have OCD. I like organization and I like a clean house, I mean really who doesn't??? That's another project I have on my to-do list, organizing the house. I have found quite a few amazing blogs that have inspired me and I can't wait to get started.

If I could spend all day shopping you would find me at Hobby Lobby, Lowe's, Michael's, Home Goods....and the list goes on!!! I also enjoy fashion, my typically clothes stops would be Old Navy, Target, or Maurice's. I have a fetish for handbags & nail polish.
